Charlottetown Synchro Naiads

My daughter Makenzie has been in Synchronized swimming for 3 years. This is her first year in Competitive Synchro and this weekend was out first experience with an “away trip” with her team.

First off, I just want to say how proud I am of my daughter and her team of 9 other girls. They came in 1st place. It was really exciting for them to come in first but that was not the most important part. The most important to me, was seeing the confidence in all of these girls. They were proud of themselves and their teammates and it was nice to see such team work. These girls range in age from 9-13 and it is a nice self esteem booster for them.

This is an amazing and beautiful sport. It is ballet in the water and these girls are so strong to be able to do what they do. The Charlottetown Naiads have a team that is practicing for the Canada Games, so if you get a chance to see them in action…do….. you will not be disappointed!!!
