My wedding anniversary

Today is my 16th wedding anniversary.

When I go to weddings all summer long, I  think of the words that the bride and groom say to each other. How important those words are and the meaning they have.  The planning of the day takes a good year of your life. and when the actual day comes it seems to go by so fast.   I know for me that I was worried about my flowers or the decorating or the guests having a good time, that I forgot to take a moment to remember that I was getting married. Sounds funny but it is true.  So on your wedding day, take a minute and remember to breathe.

We were both very young and had a lot against us but made it this far, not without some bumps in the road but I would not change a thing.  I have a beautiful family and I love them with all of my heart and when I look back at my past I have happy memories and when I look to the future, it is bright and full of joy.

My scanner is broke so no old wedding photos to show you.  I am kinda happy about not being able to show you my puffy sleeve dress. (I gave Anne of Green Gables a run for her money).  Don’t judge, that was the style back then….no really it was  So here is some photos of my hubby with the other love in his life and her name is “Shelley” with an “e” .
