I am sorry to tell you all but, I am not a “true” Islander
I moved to PEI when I was ten years old from Calgary and lived with my grandparents for 3 months until we could move into our house. This is my first memory of my Granny and Grampy Shea. My grampy was a farmer and a bus driver and my granny was the best baker I had ever meet
There is nothing better that a warm wood stove full of bread raising…..and that is what my Granny did. Over the last two years my Granny has lost her husband of 40 some years and one of her daughters to MS. She has also been going through treatment for cancer. She is a strong lady with a very contagious laugh. So here is a few photos of my granny and one of the old bus in the yard
My Granny….it’s her birthday :)

Love it Shelly. Thanks for posting it.
This is a beautiful tribute Shelly…our condolences to you and your family. I can see that she had the same sparkle in her eyes as you
